How do I set up Safari on a Mac?

Safari Setup Instructions:
  1. Open Safari.
  2. Use the File pull down menu and choose Print...
  3. Expand the Print dialog.
  4. Make sure Safari is choosen in the fourth drop down list box.
  5. Make sure the Print Backgrounds check box is checked.
  6. Make sure the Print Headers and Footerscheck box is unchecked.
  7. Press Print.

Un-block pop-up windows: Some SpEd Form pages include "pop-up" windows that open to display more information or as a way for you to edit certain fields. By default, pop-up window blocking is enabled in Safari 4 and later. To not block SpEd Forms pop-up windows, you will need to uncheck "Block Pop-Up Windows" from the Safari Settings Menu.

Allowing Pop-ups in Safari

  1. Select "Safari" on the main tool bar.
  2. If the "Block Pop-Up Windows" option is checked, select it to uncheck it and unblock pop-up windows.

"How do I stop extra blank pages from printing when I'm on a Mac?"

Sometimes Mac printer settings cause extra pages to print. You can reset the settings using the following steps:

  1. Open a Finder window.
  2. Select your Home folder in the Sidebar on the left.
  3. Open the Library folder.
  4. Open the Preferences folder.
  5. Move the com.apple.print.PrintingPrefs.plist file from the Preferences folder to the Trash.
  6. Log off then Log back in.
