Finding Duplicate Students in SpEd Forms

Have you tried the “Check for Duplicate Student Records” report yet? Available to all SpEd Forms administrators, the report shows duplicate records by school, district or the complete student list. Try it – the results might surprise you!

What should you do with duplicate records? Assign duplicate records to the correct case managers and ask them to identify the most complete record. The least complete record may then be deleted by an administrator. To prevent future duplicate records ensure all students are entered with their correct MARSS number (or another unique identifier).

The report is available already for all districts using our servers, and will be available to all school districts with their own servers after the April SpEd Forms update is installed.
