New due process forms clarification

Several comments have been sent in from school districts regarding the new due process forms. The forms posted on the Department of Education web site are draft, and as yet not approved. They can be found on the Department of Education web site at:

We have started working on the new forms using the draft versions as a guide. However, we will not implement the new forms in SpEd Forms until the approved versions are released. We have started working on the new forms to ensure we keep our ongoing commitment to school districts to have new forms available in SpEd Forms as soon as practical after their final release.

Our best estimate is that the new forms will be available in SpEd Forms by the end of November; however, the exact timetable is dependent on the number of comments received by the Department of Education regarding the new forms.
