4/20/07 MA Forms and the NPI

The DHS recently announced the NPI needs to be attached to all medical claims by May 23rd. The DHS will temporarily require submission of both the provider ID and the NPI.

To utilize the NPI, all entry and batching staff need to use the newest version of SpEd Forms, ie: your server address should be 15.spedforms.org or 16.spedforms.org or 17.spedforms.org (unless you have your own SpEd Forms server). IMPORTANT: Old versions of SpEd Forms are not compatible with the new requirements.

After ensuring you are using the most current version of SpEd Forms, enter your NPI in MA Forms>>District Setup.
