9/15/08 Setup
The beginning of the school year is a good time to check your SpEd Forms setup because your computer may have been updated while you were away from school. SpEd Forms setup instructions can be found at:
http://www.spedforms.com/guide/1.asp
Following are some intermittent issues you will experience if your setup is not complete:
1. You will overwrite other team member's work, especially in the Evaluation Report. [IE & Firefox]
By default, Internet browsers remember pages you have visited. If you return to a form you have previously visited after another team member has made changes you may not see their changes. When you then make your own changes and save them you will overwrite their work.
2. Changes made at home will not appear to have saved. [IE & Firefox]
By default, Internet browsers remember pages you have visited. If you work on a form from school
then work from home your changes may not appear the next time you work from school. When you then make changes from school and save them you will overwrite your own work.
3. The right hand side of the page will be cut off when printed. [IE]
By default, the print margins in Internet Explorer are set to 0.75 inches. In order for you to print the entire document they must be set to 0.5 inches.
4. The page will print too small. [Firefox]
In Firefox, if print margins are set too large, or the incorrect paper size is selected, the page will be scaled, resulting in smaller than intended printed text.
All of the above issues can be resolved by completing your SpEd Forms setup. :)
