9/15/08 Recent improvements
Please find a summary of improvements to SpEd Forms following. The improvements have been posted to all SpEd Forms servers.
Administrators:
1. In "Forms in PDF format", the 504 Plan has been added
2. Custom Reports
a. Administrators can now print all pages of any custom report
b. The name of the custom report shows at the top of the page.
c. Data preview has been added to custom SQL reports
d. Non-SQL custom reports can now be edited using the "Select tables and fields" interface.
e. An error that occurred when SQL statements longer than 2000 characters were entered has been resolved.
Service Plans:
1. IEP: Validation of start dates for child specific paraprofessional services has been removed.
2. IEP/IIIP: Duplicate IEP/IIIPs can no longer be finalized.
ER Forms:
1. The evaluation report date has been added to the printed Signatures page.
2. On the "Student Information" page the "Additional Criteria for SLD" section appears only when SLD indicated on the "Signatures" page.
3. Titles of sections now appear in the "Go to..." menu.
Additional Forms:
1. Parental Consent/Objection Form: the address, city, state, zip fields under "Return this form to:" are now automatically populated with the current team member's information when the "Parental Consent/Objection Form" is accessed for the first time.
2. Parental Consent/Objection Form: ESCE Part B and Part C can now be concurrently selected.
General:
1. For consistency, the "Save changes" buttons have been removed from "Measures" and "Credentials" pages in the teacher's "Your Setup" menu. Each of these pages has the standard "Save" button at the top of the page.
2. When viewing the list of users through "Student Sharing" the names are now listed as by instead of First then Last.
3. The "Request Student" button on the "Work with students" menu has been relabeled to "Find/Request Student". The search results now include more information to make it easier to identify the student and contact the current IEP manager.
