Recent Improvements
General:
1. On the "Work with students" page, the "All students" and "Managed by me" check boxes are now working correctly and the "Show:" drop down has been removed (this was originally used to choose your current, other or all districts).
2. The "exclusive rights" feature has been implemented throughout SpEd Forms to prevent overlaps in permissions.
3. A minor change has been made to the "Firefox 3 Setup Instructions for Mac OS X users". The "Setting Margins in Firefox 3" section requests that users select 0.00 inches for all margins.
Service Plans (IEP, ISP, IFSP & Interim Placement):
1. An issue was resolved that altered some STAR Participation settings on the Validation page when "Outside of testing group..." was checked for CAHSEE.
2. The DRDP section on the "Special Factors" page will now be printed if the student is between 2 and 5 years old.
3. The layout of the STAR Participation on the "Special Factors" page has been changed so that the "xxx with..." and "xxx without..." check boxes are beside one another.
4. The grade requirements in CMA for Mathematics (STAR Participation) on the "Special Factors" page has been changed from "grades 3 to 8 only" to "grades 3 to 7 only".
5. An issue has been resolved that allowed the second page of "Special Factors" to print as a blank page.
6. The Transition Plan Validation will no longer error out when the Type of Education Plan (plan_type) is set to "Eligible - No IEP...".
7. A typo was discovered in the STAR Participation warnings on the validation page. "Desciptions" has been changed to "Descriptions".
8. The Spanish version of the "IEP" has been completely updated.
9. In the "Individualized Service Plan" (ISP), the text box for "Are of need" has been changed to a larger field to accommodate more characters.
504 Plan:
1. A signature line has been added to the "Accommodation Plan" print page for all "Participants" that have been added to that form.
ER Forms:
1. Two new ER Forms test templates were added to the Social/Emot/Behav category. Behavior Assessment System for Children (BASC-2) - Parent/Teacher with Content Scales and Behavior Assessment System for Children (BASC-2) - Self Report with Content Scales.
2. A DesignMode version of the Wechsler Individual Achievement Test - II (WIAT-2) has been added to the Achievement section of SpEd Forms test templates.
3. Differences with the "Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)" template/criteria have been updated to show the correct information.
4. The "Conners' 3 - Self Report" has been added back to SpEd Forms Test templates (it is in the Social/Emot/Behav category.
5. The Functional Behavior Assessment, ER Forms test template has been updated (Social/Emot/Behav category).
Additional Forms:
1. The "Finalization" process has been added to the "Behavior Support Plan".
2. Spanish version have been updated for the following forms: The "Notice of an IEP Meeting", "Progress Report" and the "Notice of Procedural Safeguards".
3. District/School information for history documents will now be displayed correctly for records that are transferred from another SELPA.
4. The "Graduation Notification" has been updated and translated into Spanish.
5. English and Spanish versions of "Notice of Non-Graduation" have been added.
6. English and Spanish versions of "Certificate of Completion Notification" have been added.
Administrators:
1. A drop down option has been added to the District Setup page to allow administrators to keep track of the "Student system:" that the district uses.
2. The following improvements have been made to the Custom Reports interface:
a. "is null", "is not null", "is empty" and "is not empty" filters have been added.
b. Support for "or" statements has been added.
c. "Show district" and "Show school" check boxes have been added.
d. Custom reports may now be shared with case managers.
e. The "Help" guide has been updated.
f. The format of exported dates has been adjusted to make them more compatible with spreadsheets.
3. In the "Find User" section of the "Users" page, administrators can now enter partial names into the First/Last name fields. Precede the name with "%" to broaden the search ("%ann" would not only bring up "Anna" and "Annette", but also "Suzanne", "Leanne", "Shannon", etc.).
4. A drop down menu for the "Default LEA service" has been added to the "modify" interface of the "Users" page.
5. Due to an issue on the "Find students outside my permissions" report, the "Go to..." menu has been removed from that page.
6. A check box has been added to the "add" and "modify" interface of the "Users" page that gives administrators the ability to allow or not allow specific users to create finalizations. If "Allow finalizations" is unchecked, users will be able to validate any service plan but they will not be able to finalize that service plan.
7. A check box has been added to the "District" setup page that gives administrators the option to "Hide blank PDF forms".
8. A "tabbed" interface has been implemented into the Administrative Reports menu (like that of the Forms Menu).
9. The setup pages for Cooperatives, Districts and Schools has been moved from the Administration Menu to the Preferences menu.
10. A new administrative report had been created for "User Tag Count (by School)".
11. The layout of the LEA Reports menu has been updated and reorganized.
