SpEd Forms: Recent improvements (MN)
Administrators:
1. A preference to "Remove the 'Blank Template' option from ER Forms" has been added.
2. "Start Date" and "End Date" have been added to the "Services history" report.
3. "Super MA billing clerk" users can now submit support requests.
4. The MARSS status "Requires services but not yet in a program [3]" no longer exits a student.
5. "Resident District" is now a required field on the "Student setup".
6. The new MARSS status "Receiving indirect services only [9]" has been added.
Service plans:
1. On the IEP/ISP/IIIP a new drop down for "Agency Providing Service..." in the "Transition Services" section has been added. The name of this drop down in "Edit drop down lists" is "OUTSIDE AGENCIES (78)".
2. On the IEP/ISP/IIIP a new drop down for "Program Supports for School Personnel" in the "Services and Modifications" section has been added. The name of this drop down in "Edit drop down lists" is "OUTSIDE AGENCIES (78)".
3. Unlimited reporting periods may now be added to the Progress Report. A new reporting period automatically appears after the existing reporting period is entered and saved.
4. The IFSP has been updated per changes released by the state.
5. In IFSP validation, a "Finalize IFSP DNQ" button to now allows users to finalize partially completed IFSPs for students that did not qualify for ECSE.
Additional forms:
1. On the "Notice of a Team Meeting" a new down for "Room Number-Building-Address" has been added. The name of this drop down in "Edit drop down lists" is "MEETING LOCATIONS (79)".
2. On the "Notice of a Team Meeting", teacher instructions have been updated under "The purpose of this meeting is:".
3. On the "Authorization for Release of Information" the fields for District Name, School Responsible and (school) Address are now read only and are populated from the student setup.
4. Users can now enter alternative information into the name and phone fields of the "Procedural Safeguards Notice" (Part B).
Evaluation report:
1. The section headings have been updated for the Blank ER template.
2. The "Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)" template has been updated.
MA forms:
1. From the "Create/edit claim transmission (837)" page, users can now search for logs that have been "Signed".
504 plan:
1. The 504 menu has been reordered to more closely follow the order that the forms are used.
Other improvements:
1. A new time line warning for age 21 has been added to "Work with students".
2. A field has been added to the student setup to accommodate the "Suffix" of the student's name.
3. Student's names will now be displayed on "Your Calendar" when a student is chosen in that event.
4. A link to "Student sharing" now appears in the "Go to..." menu (if sharing is available for that student).
5 . On the communication log, "Contact:", "Phone:" and "Relationship with [student]:" will now be automatically populated with the first Parent/Guardian's name, home phone and relationship to child information.
