Note to administrators: This update will make it easier for teachers to edit drop down menus. An "Edit" option will now appear in any drop down menu for which the "Edit" box is checked in Organization>>Drop down lists. Please review your drop down list permissions to ensure teachers can only edit the lists you want them to. ;)
Administrators:
1. A new "Files" button will appear for Administrators. Initially, administrators may upload any file under 500k into SpEd Forms.
2. A new preference will allow administrators to give teachers the option to document parent contact on the Agreement to Amend (rather than obtaining signatures).
Organization>>Preferences>>Service Plans>>Agreement to Amend: replace signature lines with documentation of parent contact.
3. A new preference will allow administrators to define a separate IFSP services menu.
Organization>>Preferences>>Service Plans>>Services: Show IFSP specific services menu.
4. The "Revocation of Consent for Special Education" can now be turned on/off in Organization>>Preferences.
5. For the data that gets emailed through the "Email MARSS changes" feature, the number code and description now appear with the "Federal Setting" and "Status".
MA Forms:
1. The eligibility import now retains private insurance information. You can view this information by clicking on the "View other insurance info" link on the student's billing setup.
2. If claims are accidentally sent through twice and are returned on the same Remittance Advice as both paid and denied, the paid claim will now be listed and imported first so that claim information will not be deleted (from the denied claim information).
Service Plans (IEP, IIIP, ISP, IFSP, Amendments and Progress Report):
1. The "Location" field on the 2010 IEP Services page had been changed to a drop down list.
2. When printing the Progress Report, entries will be ordered by the most recent date and all labels for the top entry will appear in bold text.
3. The "Description of Outcome Progress" (Outcomes/goals) will now print correctly when the entire IFSP is printed.
4. The reference to ", for students ages 14-21," has been updated to ", beginning during grade 9," in the third bullet of the 2010 "Present Level(s) of Academic Achievement and Functional Performance".
5. "Present Level(s) of Academic Achievement and Functional Performance" have been added back to the 2010 IEP Goals page.
Additional Forms:
1. Finalization has been added for the "Behavior Intervention Plan".
2. Custom values that the user has entered for specific drop downs will now be available even when the district has chosen not to show (administrative) "Custom values" for specific drop down lists.
3. On the "Medical Documentation: ADHD", the (contact) "Name" has been relabeled to "Name of Professional" for clarity.
4. The age calculation on the "Referral for Screening/Evaluation Birth to Age 3" (and some other forms) will now show the age in months if the student is less than one year old.
General:
1. In the "Go to..." menu, reference to "Select another student" has been change to "Student list".
2. In "Your setup", the layout/labeling of the fields has been updated on the custom "Team Member list".
3. When using the Spell Check, the "Check grammar" option will no longer be checked by default.
4. A link to "Student history" has been added back to the "Go to..." menu.
5. An "Edit" option has been added to drop downs which allows teachers to edit their custom drop down menus from the page they are working on.
